Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" and another is Psalms 37:39 " The salvation of the righteous is of the Lord; He is our rock in times of trouble"....Both are "my versions" as best as I can recall these verses, but at any rate, they are 2 I have also leaned on when worrying about things out of my control, ie, EVERYTHING!! God is in control of our lives, and when we submit to His will, and become Christlike in everything we do, our fears become pointless......Oh if only I had the faith to ALWAYS do that.....by the way Jim, when did you become a "country bumpkin"? Thanks for that encouragement. Knowing that God is in control even when we have NO idea what is going on is one of the biggest things that keeps me going when things get tough. After going through a bunch of anxiety over the past few years about all kinds of stuff, He has finally helped me see He really IS in control of it all.
